A Universe in Chinese Characters 1/2: Outdoor Nature Observation – Ayrlies Wetlands Guided Birdwalk
Embark on a guided birdwalk at Ayrlies Wetlands in Part 1 of our “A Universe in Chinese Characters” series. More than just a nature walk, this experience invites participants to closely observe bird behaviours, flight dynamics, and organic postures in the wild. Throughout history, Chinese characters and calligraphy were inspired by patterns found in nature and wildlife. The visual forms and movements gathered during this outdoor session will directly serve as creative inspiration for Part 2: Chinese Calligraphy Workshop at Botany Library. Your $5 ticket covers registration for this walk and grants you free entry to the follow-up cultural workshop. Open to all ages!
