A Universe in Chinese Characters 2/2: Indoor Cultural Workshop
Step into the world of traditional Chinese calligraphy in Part 2 of our “A Universe in Chinese Characters” series. Ancient Chinese writing originated from observing natural forms—including the postures, flight paths, and dynamics of birds. In this hands-on workshop, participants will take the inspiration gathered during our Ayrlies Wetlands birdwalk and translate those living rhythms into artistic strokes and character creation. Guided by experienced tutors, you will practice basic brushwork, explore character design, and create a custom piece of calligraphy art to take home. Priority and free admission are reserved for Part 1 attendees. All materials provided.
